I think almost everyone says ‘It doesn’t matter what you look like as long as you are healthy,’ and ‘We should just accept our bodies for the way they are.’ I know I sure have and still do say these things.

BUT how many of us actually practice this???? How many of us actually do love our bodies and are proud of them??
This is my down fall, and where this blog started for me. I believe we should accept our bodies for how they are and we should exercise and look after them because it’s good for us and it makes us feel good not because of the size or shape or look it makes us. However, I still feel crap about the way I look. I still try diets and crazy exercise fads, and never get to where I think I should be.

I have a 9 month old daughter and I never want her to feel like this!! There is already so much pressure out in the world about our image and if I’m going to be my daughters role model I’m not going to be adding to those insecurities and unrealistic expectations.
So…. my new mission is to banish negative thoughts about how we look and focus on what makes us healthy and feel good!
